Home Facing: In the USA, south and west-facing homes generally align better with Vaastu principles. This is primarily because, unlike in India where homes are often enclosed by a compound wall, homes in the USA typically have their front exposed to the public. Therefore, south and west-facing homes are recommended in the USA.

Home Orientation: Ideally, a home should be aligned at zero degrees with a magnetic compass. If this isn't possible, a maximum tilt of 10 degrees is generally acceptable. However, if a home has a tilt greater than 10 degrees, I recommend seeking an opinion from a Vaastu expert before making a purchase.
